Aging Well Bakes Contest Winner Announced

Oro Valley’s Splendido, a luxury continuing care retirement community, has named the winner of its Aging Well Bakes!  recipe contest, celebrating Arizona’s active, older adults and their baking talents.   Oro Valley resident Francine Crist, 59, took top honors for her caramel apple bread pudding recipe. Her baked dessert was among dozens of recipes submitted by adults 55 and better. New: Savaya Coffee I was in Williams Center today and noticed a new coffee joint called Savaya Coffee.  Savaya opened in April and is still a work in progress as far as design and décor but is roasting coffee daily and has limited service for about a half dozen drinks. Check it out! Closing: VinTabla VinTabla is closing soon; more information as it becomes available. Dove Mountain Grill (VinTabla’s newer Marana sister) remains open so you can still get your VinTabla fix.
