Pueblo Gem & Mineral Show
Riverpark Inn – 350 S. Freeway Ave.
Here’s a shout out to the director of catering at Riverpark Inn so I’m sure there will be plenty of nibbles so you don’t have to wander far but if you do, get on the modern street car and go to the end of the line at the Mercado where you can sup on Seis Kitchen (a former food truck inducing long lines) for Mexican food, Stella Java, La Estrella Bakery, Blu (a cheese & wine store), and of course, Agustin Kitchen.

Tucson Convention Center – 260 S. Church Ave.
Near the Tucson Convention Center you’re in downtown where there is a plethora of restaurants. Nearest to the TCC are Cushing Street Bar & Grill and El Minuto Cafe. A few blocks to the east would be Casa Vicente (Spanish) on South Stone. Hop on the modern street car and go anywhere and everywhere to wine bars, breweries, a rooftop bar, an underground beer garden and plenty of restaurants to satisfy every craving.

Bead Drive 2015

Beading Divas to the Rescue

Bead Drive 2015

Now about those beads…Since 2009 Beading Divas to the Rescue has raised more than $115,000 for various animal charities.

Every month they choose a different 501c3 animal charity to fund-raise for by selling their one-of-a-kind beaded bracelets.

In order to keep up this pace and mission, they need beads, lots of beads. While you’re out and about consider donating some beads. You can read all about the Bead Drive here. There are numerous venues to drop off beads or we can arrange pick up. Just bead it!
