Grilled Cheese Meets Creativity + Giving Back, Tucson

National Grilled Cheese Month

What’s your pleasure?

Circle of Food goes bananas when local restaurants put a creative spin on giving back.

Sauce Restaurants is celebrating National Grilled Cheese month in April.

From now through April 18, you have an opportunity to suggest your own OUTSTANDING AND FANTASTIC grilled cheese sandwich by entering a recipe online or in the store.

The winning recipe will be featured on the Sauce menu in May and Sauce will then donate $1 from each grilled cheese sandwich sold to the winner’s charity of choice. Circle of Food loves this idea!

Winner will be judged by Sauce’s Executive Chef based on taste, flavor, cost and creativity. Entries must be received online or in-store by midnight PDT April 18, 2015.

As you consider all the cheesy goodness on your own edible, incredible grilled cheese sandwich, here’s what to include:

-your favorite bread;

-your favorite spread to slather on — butter, oil or another suggestion altogether;

-after that, get creative with the cheese – or cheeses;

But wait there’s more…

-make it special by adding, well, whatever they want;

-and then you have to name your creation.

Are you up for the challenge?

If the answer is YES, click on this link or fill out a form at any of the three Sauce locations in Tucson:
