Oatmeal Diversity

In the winter, I love a warming bowl of oatmeal to start the day.

But now it’s summer and I’m still eating my oats and feeling my oats too.

Oatmeal doesn’t have to be the same old, same old every morning. It doesn’t even have to be in a bowl for breakfast.

Some enterprising writer came up with a baker’s dozen of ways to eat oatmeal.

Here are but a few:  oatmeal lace cookies, blueberry oatmeal bars, cinnamon oatmeal creme brulee, sexed up savory oatmeal,  and more.

I, too, eat oatmeal every morning–it’s a nice way to start the day and one of the few breakfast foods that won’t upset my sensitive tummy.
