We’ve all been waiting for the results and here they are!
After countless sips of wine and who knows how many oysters, the Pacific Coast Oyster Wine Competition has come to an end. Judges in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle picked those wines they felt best met “the bliss factor.” This year’s list is a nice mix of wines from California, Oregon and Washington and includes Pinot Grigios, Sauvignon Blancs, Pinot Gris, and two blends: a Chenin Blanc/Viognier and Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc. This was the 17th year for the event sponsored by Taylor Shellfish Farms and hosted by the inimitable oyster guru, Jon Rowley.
